KLMC TRAINING PASTORAL COMMUNITIES ON HIV/AIDS CONTROL
HIV/AIDS AWARENESS TRAINING
KLMC with support of OXFAM GB has conducted HIV/AIDS awareness workshop in Turkana district for its members. The workshop which was attended by 25 participants targeted livestock traders, who travel widely to sale their livestock. The traders are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS epidemic due to constant movement away from home to urban towns to look for markets. KLMC need to mainstream HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention in its programme to help reduce the spread in pastoral communities.
